Why does your website inventory say "Sold Out or In Store Purchase Only?"

Some items in our shop are not able to be shipped - for example a digital piano that is already set up and doesn't have a shipping box, a customer that doesn't feel comfortable shipping a consigned item out of state, or something that is just too bulky to ship like a PA system.  Other items are simply sold out.  Please call us if you're interested in an item and want to know if it is available as in store purchase only or simply out of stock.  If it's out of stock, we could tell you when we might be re-ordering.

 

What is manufacturer direct shipping?

This is a service we are starting to offer in 2013.  Being authorized dealers enables us to offer direct shipping from the manufacturer's warehouse right to your doorstep.  Brands include Hagstrom, Jay Turser, Warwick and many others.  All guitars receive a factory setup and the manufacturer's quality control check before being shipped.  Gear that is shipped using manufacturer direct shipping will have stock photos on our website, and these purchases include the manufacturer warranty as well as our 14 Day Return Policy.  There will be a note by the product price 'ships with manufacturer direct shipping.'  Please note that we are not able to perform custom setups on gear that is shipped direct from the manufacturer since it ships directly from the manufacturer to you.

 

Do you buy used instruments?

Yes, we buy used gear, we accept trade-ins, and we can also consign your gear in our shop.  Consignment value varies with an item's selling price.

 

What is your return policy?

Our 14 Day "No Questions Asked" Return Policy is good for new and used gear!  Please see our return policy at the bottom of any page on our website for details.  New gear must be in same condition as when sold, with original packaging etc..., used gear must also be in same condition when purchased.

 

Do you have a warranty for your instruments?

All of our new instruments and gear are covered by the manufacturer warranty.  Our used instruments and gear are either repaired or available for a refund during our 14 day return policy.  It is up to our discretion whether we will repair your used gear during the 14 day return period - the option to return your used gear during the 14 day return period is always up to you.  Repairs on used gear are only done for problems/issues resulting from normal use or wear and tear.  

 

Do you offer lessons?

We have a traveling instructor that is available during our business hours on Wednesdays.  He can teach guitar, bass, and other stringed instruments.  Contact us at our shop and we can pass along his contact info.  Lesson scheduling, payment, rescheduling, and cancellations are directly handled by our instructor and not through us.

 

Can you restring my guitar?

Sure - we charge a small fee plus the price of strings, unless you have strings you can provide.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship domestically to the United States from our website.  Certain items that ship via Fed Ex or UPS only ship to the continental lower 48 states, and addresses like PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses are not eligible shipping address for UPS or Fed Ex from our website.  We do ship internationally from our eBay store.  If you have any questions about your shipping address, please contact us before purchasing.

 

Why do you ask for my phone number to place an order on your website?

To print a label for Fed Ex, the recipient's phone number is a mandatory field to complete.  This is used in case the driver needs to contact you.  Our webhosting software doesn't give us the option to only ask for your phone number when ordering something shipping Fed Ex, so we made it a mandatory field for all orders.  As our privacy policy states (located at the bottom of any page on our website), we do not share your information and only use it to process your order.

 

Are you related to Wray's Music House in Lemoyne?

Billy Wray's father William A Wray started Wray's Music House in 1955.  Billy Wray left the business in 1999 and formed Billy Wray Music Shop with his son Bill Jr in November of 2010.  Billy Wray Music Shop is a third generation music store.

 

Do you have band instruments?

Yes.  We have an assortment of pre-owned band and orchestra instruments.  For obvious reasons, our used instrument inventory constantly changes as we sell and buy used gear that comes through our shop.  We also have rental instruments for school programs during band season - usually starting in late summer.  

 

Can you take my credit card over the phone?

Certainly.  We can process your card securely using our Point Of Sale system in our shop, and will also take down your shipping information.  Your shipping address will need to be the same as the billing address on your card.  We'll include a copy of your credit card receipt with your purchase.

 

Can you do special orders?

Yes.  We require at least 1/3 down payment of the agreed purchase price before ordering - this is non-refundable.  Call us with any questions regarding returns on special orders.

 

Do you have layaway?

We offer 30 or 60 day layaways on certain items in our shop.  We'll set up a scheduled payment plan with you.
